stART: Rainbow Fish

E just loves the Rainbow Fish books.  So this morning, we did a sparkly rainbow fish craft!  I used the fish stamp I made, and she stamped glue fishes all over the paper.  Then we used all different colors of glitter to make the fish sparkle just like Rainbow Fish.  The result doesn't really look like fish, but E had a great time and loves her picture anyhow.  :)  It's all about the process, right??

Great Project. I've never thought of putting a stamp in glue like that. Great idea.

I am always impressed when mommies pull out the glitter. I confess that we don't even own any!

Rainbow fish is a fun book, and you are a brave money to tackle a glitter project. I still can't bring myself to bring loose glitter in the house :)

The glitter was HIGHLY assisted with. And it's in a shakey tube. No way am I turning a 2 year old loose with glitter of any form. Ha! Not too bad on the clean-up, actually!

Thanks for the kind comments!
